We offer Primary Programs for dancers 18 months to 6 years, Academy Programs for ages 6+, Adult Programs, Private Dance Lessons, and Limitless Abilities dance classes(for children with disabilities).
PRIMARY DANCE PROGRAMS
For dancers 18 months – 5 years
Half-term sessions and yearly sessions available.
Sure to be the highlight of your dancer’s week, each program is an interactive experience for young dancers, as we explore creative movement, introduction to ballet, jazz, tap, and numbers, letters, colours, and shapes. We’ll introduce your dancer to the fundamentals to help build strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, confidence, and body awareness.
Dancers love spending this time interacting with their teachers while moving to fun, kid-friendly music that encourages movement.

Age: 18 months - 3 years
Four 8-week sessions are offered per year
Twirl, tiptoe, and explore! Plié & Play invites little movers and their grown-ups to discover the joy of dance together through creative movement and a playful intro to ballet. With props, songs, and games, our instructors turn every class into a fun-filled dance adventure!

For Age: 3 (birth year 2022)
Twirl & Tumble is a joyful introduction to dance for young children, designed especially for 3-year-olds. This fun and engaging class blends creative movement, beginner ballet, and a gentle introduction to acro (acrobatics) in a playful, age-appropriate way.
Dancers will build coordination, balance, and rhythm through music, movement games, and simple acro skills like stretching, jumping, and rolling. Each class encourages imagination and confidence while nurturing a love for movement in a warm and supportive environment.

For Age: 4-5 (birth year 2021 & 2020)
In Studio Stars Ballet, young dancers ages 4-5 take their first magical steps into the world of ballet! Based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, this class is designed to make ballet fun, engaging, and exciting, all while helping your little one build important skills like balance, coordination, and confidence. Discover the foundational ballet steps, like plié, tendu, and relevé, in a way that feels like a fun adventure! We make learning ballet fun through games and playful activities.
With Studio Stars Ballet, every class is a fun-filled journey where your child will make new friends, explore movement, and fall in love with ballet—all in a supportive and friendly environment. Perfect for young dancers who are ready to take their first steps into ballet!

For Age: 4 & 5 (birth year 2021 & 2020)
Studio Stars Tap & Jazz, where our youngest dancers shine! This exciting and playful class is the perfect introduction to the world of dance, combining tap's lively rhythms with the upbeat jazz style. In this fun-filled combo class, your little one will learn the basics of both tap and jazz through creative movement, catchy music, and tons of smiles.
Our friendly teachers guide each child with patience and encouragement, helping them develop coordination, rhythm, and a love for dancing. They'll get to explore basic tap steps as well as fun jazz moves, all while building confidence and having a blast!
Each class is filled with games, songs, and mini-routines designed to keep kids engaged and moving. Whether they’re tapping out rhythms or jazzing up the dance floor, your child will feel like a star every time they step into the studio.

For Age: 4-5 (birth year 2021 & 202)
In Acro Adventures, young movers dive into the fun world of acro gymnastics and dance with the Acrobatic Arts Pre-School Syllabus! This class builds strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through age-appropriate skills like tumbling, basic handstands, and stretching. With obstacle courses, games, and creative movement, dance fundamentals, and kids learn in a playful yet structured environment led by caring, certified instructors. It’s the perfect mix of fun, flips, and confidence-building!

For Age: 3-5 (birth year 2022-2020)
This is Flip Hop, the ultimate mix of acro and hip hop! This fun, high-energy class for kids ages 3-5 combines the strength-building moves of acrobatics with the exciting grooves of hip hop, giving little ones the chance to tumble, flip, and groove!
In Flip Hop, children will explore basic acro skills like rolls, handstands, and balance exercises while also learning easy, fun hip hop moves to the beat. With exciting music, creative routines, and lots of movement, kids will develop rhythm, coordination, and strength—all while having a blast.

THE ACADEMY DANCE PROGRAM
For dancers 6+
Acro, tumbling, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, lyrical and contemporary – PDA has it all!
Your dancer loves the physical, social, and emotional benefits that dance offers, and PDA programs meet the need for every style and level of dance.

At PDA, our acro programs are second to none!
Perfect for a dancer that likes to work towards goals this progressional syllabus sets out skills for dancers to achieve and celebrate through the program. Our acro instructors are all Acrobatic Arts certified and our programs follow the professional curriculum.
Acro classes consist of:
Acro-specific conditioning and stretching program, core, back and shoulder strengthening.
A focus on limbering skills and variations as well as building strength & stability for balances.
A tumbling portion which will teach fundamentals of tumbling and connections through level-appropriate drills.
The opportunity to explore Acro combinations and partnering throughout the season.

Tumbling classes at PDA are offered in 2 different levels: Foundations or Progressions.
Foundations Tumbling:
Acts as an introductory class by laying the groundwork for tumbling skills such as aerials and back handsprings. Through drills, strengthening, and repetition, dancers will work towards these skills by perfecting their cartwheel and round-off variations, and the breakdown of the skill and shapes required.
Dancers must also be enrolled in an Acro 3, or 4 level class or have 2-3 years of gymnastics or acro experience.
Must be able to fall to bridge from standing, cartwheel, & straight handstand.
Progressions Tumbling:
An intermediate/advanced tumbling class that focuses on achieving aerials and back handsprings and building on these skills.
Dancers will progress to more advanced skills and drills such as front aerials, back tucks, and back layouts.
Dancers must be enrolled in an Acro 4 or Acro 5+ class and be able to back walkover and front over.

Following The Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus, PDA ballet classes educate dancers on the elements of classical ballet while developing poise, strength, and agility.
Dancers will learn terminology, classical movement, and musicality as well as explore free movement and character dance. Intermediate Foundation classes and up will be assessed for pointe work through a thorough evaluation. Upon teacher approval dancers may be recommended for pointe work.
PDA offers R.A.D examinations from pre-primary to intermediate.

A high-energy class combining a variety of styles: contemporary jazz, street jazz, broadway jazz, funk jazz, and more. Dancers explore the use of isolations, musicality, dynamics, and style while also learning technical elements such as pirouettes, battements, and jumps.
Dancers will learn the foundational elements of jazz through the A.D.A.P.T Jazz Syllabus.

A fun, percussive art form that combines technique with dancers wearing tap shoes and music theory training. Tap is rooted in diversity and tradition.
Our tap dancers work with the Tap Dance Centre Syllabus which focuses on technique, musicality training, and tap history. Along with being able to make lots of noise, dancers will learn an art form that gets their bodies and minds working!

An energetic and influential style of dance. Classes combine the hottest styles and a variety of freestyle movements to create grooves and combinations that your dancer will love.
Dancers will explore freestyle, b-boy, stalls, tricks, isolations, popping, locking, breaking, downrocking, and a great mix of the latest grooves.

Includes exploration of creative movement, improvisation, expression, and technique.
Dancers draw from their training to explore varying movement qualities. Classes include combinations, partnering, and floor work, as well as exploring connection, dynamics, and transitions.

In this class dancers learn to tell stories through movement and music. Lyrical dance combines ballet and jazz steps with emotion, helping dancers explore feelings and creativity while building strength, control, and confidence. Perfect for dancers who love to move with meaning!

Step into the world of Broadway! Dancers will learn upbeat routines that mix dance with acting and storytelling, all set to songs from popular musicals. They will explore acting, improv as well as characterization development. Perfect for dancers who love to perform!
ADULT DANCE CLASSES
For 18+
Adult Dance Program welcomes all levels—whether you're a beginner, a seasoned dancer transitioning from studio life, or returning to dance after time away. These classes offer a supportive, fun environment to move, express, and reconnect with dance at your own pace.

Private lessons can be beneficial for dancers that enjoy working directly with a teacher, want an additional challenge, or have a specific goal in mind.

LIMITLESS ABILITIES DANCE LESSONS
Every child should have the opportunity to join a dance studio community and participate in dance classes.
Perfect for a dancer who would benefit from a smaller class with more 1:1 attention geared towards their needs. Dancers with intellectual, physical, social, emotional, behavioural, or developmental challenges are encouraged to join this program.
The focus is on the ability and strength of the dancers and providing a fun and exciting activity for children. This program aims to reach participants who would not otherwise be able to participate in a typical dance class setting.
